Full disclosure: I am a HUGE Adele fan. I know what you are thinking; everyone is an Adele fan! But I am the Adele fan that was a fan before she was super-star famous Adele. I was a Chasing Pavements Adele fan. (If you know what that means, then you are also an Adele super fan!) I listened to an interview with her a few years ago where she talked about what Rolling in the Deep means. It is a phrase for 100% complete, passionate, unconditional love that can’t be deterred. And that notion inspired my choices in outfits this week. You will notice a lot of black and white, shoes with glitter and exciting prints, and classic jackets that are timeless and extremely flattering. These are pieces in my closet that I roll deep with and I hope they help you to find your own Adele inspired wardrobe additions!

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

Blazers have emerged as one of Fall 2017s biggest trends, and I have fully embraced this flattering look. Today’s blazers are menswear inspired with strong shoulders and a longer hem length. This means that you will create a strong shoulder with a narrow waist and the booty will be covered! Woohoo! You can never go wrong investing in a classic black blazer because it can be worn to many different ways and for so many different occasions. For this look I was inspired to pair it with an ultra feminine cami and heels. The black lace on the cami adds a touch of glamour and who can resist a pair of pink glitter heels?!?

Where to Wear:

Lunch with the girls, Friend’s birthday party, Date night, Girl’s night out, Pop concert, Winter wedding shower

Make it Unique:

The black blazer is so versatile, giving you endless options to tailor your own look. You can swap out my pink cami and try a black one for a chic monochromatic look. You can also go the opposite direction and put a white cami under the blazer and pair this with a classic black heel. If you are not comfortable wearing heels, feel free to swap them out for a pair of embellished ballet flats or kitten heels.

Tuesday

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

This outifit gives me a little extra swagger and makes me feel like what my dad calls a “tough chick.” Black leather mixed with leopard boots has an edgy vibe that I love to wear for a night out on the town or when I just need that extra kick of confidence. Since this leather jacket is a little shorter, I opted for my most flattering pair of high waisted jeans for extra coverage in the mid-section. Keeping both my cami and jacket basic black really let the leopard boots pop in an otherwise basic outfit.

Where to Wear:

Date night, Meeting with the teacher, Lunch with friends, Pop concert, Las Vegas club, Girl’s night out

Make it Unique:

If leopard boots aren’t for you, pair this look with black over the knee boots. You could also change the cami to something with a fun print and switch your boots to a basic black.

Wednesday

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

I am a huge fan of black and white polka dots…it might be a bit of an addiction. I love the whimsical feel of the print in the classic, grown-up black and white palette. I also love that this top is a blouse, making it an extremely versatile addition to your wardrobe. A blouse such as this one can be worn with jeans and flats for a casual daytime look and then worn again for a dressy look under a blazer with a pair of dress pants. For this look I chose to go the dressy route pairing my top with a pair of classic black skinny jeans and a nude heel. The cropped length of these jeans makes them perfect to pair with shoes that have ankle straps or ties like the ones worn here.

Where to Wear:

Work meeting, Pop concert, Winter wedding shower, Date night, Girl’s night out, Holiday party, Friend’s birthday party

Make it Unique:

If you are not comfortable with the shorter length and skinny silhouette of these jeans, try a pair of classic black dress pants with a longer blouse tucked in at the waist. For a more casual look, pair your blouse with a pair of blue jeans and a cap toe ballet flat. For maximum layering possibilities, throw a black blazer or a nude leather jacket on over your blouse.

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

This is hands-down the coziest, softest sweater of all time! You will love the oversized fit and how easy it is to wear with jeans and a pair of boots. The price is incredibly affordable and it comes in 5 different colors! I love pairing it with a comfy pair of boyfriend jeans and easy boots for an all-around comfortable fall outfit. These boyfriend jeans are roomy in the hip and legs, but still have the high-waist that we have all come to know and love. By keeping your sweater solid and simple, you really give your printed shoes the opportunity to shine!

Where to Wear:

Running errands, Lunch with the girls, Kid’s birthday party, Meeting with teacher, Volunteering at school, Family dinner, Shopping, Thanksgiving meal

Make it Unique:

For a dressier look, pair this sweater with a camel suede skirt and

I documented my love for the blazer trend last week, but I think it is worth highlighting this particular blazer once again. The checked fabric blazer is the ultimate in menswear inspired clothing and the long length is the perfect way to cover the hips and booty. These classic Levi’s 501 skinnies feature a flattering high waist with a straight leg that balances out the width of the hips. A feminine pair of cap-toe shoes with a low block heel balance the masculine vibe of the blazer and keep this look comfortable and classy.

Where to Wear:

Running errands, Lunch with the girls, Kid’s birthday party, Meeting with teacher, Thanksgiving meal, Family dinner, Shopping

Make it Unique:

To make this outfit more casual, switch the black cami out for a white graphic tee and wear a simple pair of white sneakers with the look. This blazer would also look fantastic over a simple black dress with heels or boots for a more dressy look.
