Womens Fashion Weekly Outfits

It’s a weird thing when you start taking pictures of every outfit that you wear. You very quickly find out what outfits are most flattering on you and which outfits you should never wear again! It is easy to become overly critical when you are constantly faced with giant pictures of yourself, every bad hair day, puffy eye day and bloated stomach day on full display! When I started taking outfit photos for my blog, I would try to copy really cute looks that I saw other people wearing, but the results weren’t always so flattering on me!

Recently, I have trained my focus on photographing outfits that I really wear in my everyday life with the occasional dressy look mixed in. I chose to name this week’s outfit post after I Like Me Better by Luav because I find that I like myself so much better in these photos when I am being true to my own sense of style and wearing the clothes that make me feel great. It is easy to get caught up in the pressure to copy what works for someone else or to doubt your own sense of self, but no one else can bring your unique point of view to the world. In the end, comparison is the thief of joy, but authenticity is the freedom to live each day as your true self! I hope you use my outfits as inspiration to create your own unique looks that make you look and feel your very best this week!

Monday

PInk Sweater Open Toe Booties

Cami: Express | Sweater: Similar | Jeans: Nobody | Shoes: Similar | Bag: Gucci | Necklace: Kendra Scott & Kendra Scott | Earrings: Stella & Dot

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

This outfit is a perfect one for transitioning from winter to spring because it still provides warmth with the jeans and cardigan, but the light colors give it a springtime feeling! I bought this cardigan at Anthropologie a few months ago and it has sold out, but I linked several similar cardigans that would be great for this look. My white cami is a new purchase from Express and it is fantastic. The fabric is silky and soft but it is completely opaque so you don’t have to worry about your bra showing through! If you don’t already own a pair of open toe booties, truly consider adding a pair to your closet for the spring season. They are so versatile, going from spring to summer to fall with ease and they are comfortable enough to wear for walking while looking dressier than a flat shoe.

Where to Wear:

Running Errands, Volunteering at school, Work meeting, Lunch with friends, Meeting with teacher, Shopping, Movie theater, Birthday party

Make it Unique:

As the temperatures get warmer, switch out my jeans for a pair of denim shorts.

Tuesday

Free People Sweater White Jeans

Sweater: Free People | Jeans: Similar | Shoes: Franco Sarto | Bag: Similar | Necklace: Kendra Scott & Kendra Scott

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

This outfit is just everything that I love about clothes! Comfortable, classic, flattering….it’s all the things!! It’s also another perfect way to transition from winter to spring with bright white jeans and a lightweight sweater. I have been finding more and more ways to style my white jeans lately and I am loving how they can create a completely new look with so many of my tops. This Free People sweater is so amazing with an oversized fit and the cutest twist front detail and it comes in several different colors. I have worn it an obscene number of times since I bought it a couple of weeks ago! The same can be said for my leopard mules! I have found so many different ways to style them and I don’t see any end in sight. The best part is they are under $100!

Where to Wear:

Running Errands, Volunteering at school, Work meeting, Lunch with friends, Meeting with teacher, Shopping, Movie theater, Birthday party

Make it Unique:

For warmer spring days, switch out my jeans for a pair of denim shorts. You can also dress this look up with a pair of leopard heels and have a fantastic date night outfit!

Wednesday

Leggings and sweater outfit

Sweater: Shein | Cami: CamiNYC | Leggings: Spanx | Shoes: Nike | Bag: Gucci | Necklace: Kendra Scott & Kendra Scott

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

This outfit is for all my Sporty Spice sisters out there who need something comfy cute to get them through the weekend! These Spanx leggings are everything that you hope a pair of leggings will be and they make me feel a little more comfortable with wearing leggings outside of the house. The fabric is nice and thick and the stomach panel is high rise to hold everything in place. I ordered this sweater from a website that I hadn’t shopped before, but is so super cheap and I am happy to report that the quality is very good! The only thing to keep in mind is that this retailer ships from China, so allow a couple of weeks to receive your order. These Nike sneakers are everything because they keep your look casual and comfortable while still looking polished and a little dressier than your workout sneakers.

Where to Wear:

Running Errands, Volunteering at school, Work meeting, Lunch with friends, Meeting with teacher, Shopping, Movie theater, Birthday party

Make it Unique:

If leggings aren’t your thing, wear a pair of black jeans instead. This is also a great look for days when your hair needs a hat!

Thursday

Leopard heels tan leather jacket

Sweater: Similar | Jacket: Express | Jeans: Madewell | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Bag: Similar | Earrings: Baublebar

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

This outfit unexpectedly mixes a neutral tan jacket with a rich plum colored sweater and adds a pop of leopard for fun! This jacket is great quality for a faux material and it is super soft and easy to wear. My leopard heels are a pair that I have owned for several years and I am thrilled that they are a closet piece that will stand the test of time. I have linked a couple of similar pairs that would make a great addition to your closet for those occasions when you want to keep the rest of your outfit simple but add one stand out piece. My bag is also super old, but I found two other black and gold bags that I absolutely LOVE! If you haven’t tried the tassel earrings from Baublebar yet, make this the day that you do it!! They are guaranteed compliment grabbers and I haven’t found an outfit yet that can’t benefit from a statement earring.

Where to Wear:

Shopping, Work meeting, Lunch with friend, Date Night, Girl’s night out, Friend’s birthday party

Make it Unique:

On days when I will be doing a lot of walking, I always leave the heels at home and wear a pair of leopard flats! Change this look up with a black sweater under the jacket for another amazing outfit!

Friday

Black blazer turtleneck outfit

Turtleneck: Similar | Blazer: Similar | Jeans: Madewell | Bag: Gucci | Shoes: Similar | Belt: Similar | Earrings: Kendra Scott

Feel Like a Million Bucks:

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this outfit after the photos were taken! I love a blazer that is cut with a longer length because it elongates the torso and slims the hips. Layering it with a simple turtleneck is a great way to add warmth during the winter without adding bulk. Madewell has quickly cemented it’s place in my jeans repertoire with amazing cuts, washes, and fit. I love the exposed button detail on this pair and the ripped hem… just a little something extra to set them a part from the sea of denim. My cap toe shoes are so comfy with the block heel and I just love the ladylike flair they give to any outfit!

Where to Wear:

Shopping, Work meeting, Lunch with friend, Date Night, Girl’s night out, Friend’s birthday party

Make it Unique:

I have linked a pair of cap toe ballet flats in case you prefer a flat shoe! This look would also work great with a black leather jacket for an edgier vibe or with a black cami during warmer months!
